Katherine Sharpless is a scenic designer graduating with her BFA in Drama and a Minor in Art History from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2020.
During her time there, she designed Into the Woods directed by Matthew Gardiner and Marisol directed by Owen Stone, and spent her summers assisting at the National Theatre (London), Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Chautauqua Theater Company.
She has also worked as a scenic artist, props artisan, and in the world of fine art and museum exhibits. She aspires to create work for beautiful and life affirming stories and to promote environmental practices in the arts.
